This overview of the new 9,000+ s.f. gymnasium shows the
progress to date. The steel barrel truss roof can be seen. The
rooftop mechanical units are being lowered into place on the left of the
photo.

The lower structure contains the offices, workout rooms,
and kitchen. The gymnasium is under the metal roof.

Agency Construction built the 30,000 s.f. main hangar
shown on the left. The open door provides a 100 ft. clear span to
maximize useable space.
Agency also performed all survey, foundation, and electrical
work for the each of the airplane storage buildings in the
background.

Due to poor soil conditions, the concrete slab was
reinforced to support the weight of the planes.
The structural steel frames include tapered sections to
maximize steel efficiency and provide a 200 ft. clear span for maximum
useable space.

helicopter was required to air lift them into place. A crane was not
a feasible alternative.
